Applications of Infrared Cameras in Industries

The intensity of heat is very important in our lives as it is used for many applications like checking illness, to regulate whether the food is cooked properly or not in case to check your Car is overheating or not. Infrared Cameras also known as Thermal imaging Cameras takes the measuring temperature to next level as previously while measuring the temperature you used to get numbers and now you get a picture showing temperature differences of a surface.

What is thermography?
Thermography is a technique for producing an image of invisible infrared light emitted by objects with the use of a thermal imaging camera. Thermal imaging cameras provide rapid scanning of a surface that is nondestructive and environmentally friendly, which allows for quick detection of potential problems or defects that will reduce troubleshooting time and preventative maintenance.

What does Infrared Cameras visualize?
The truth is thermal Imaging Cameras (Infrared Cameras) don’t actually visualise anything.  Alternatively, they capture the infrared (IR) energy transfer from an object to its environment and produce a real-time image in a color palette where hotter objects appear brighter and cooler objects appear darker. Infrared energy is generated by the vibration of atoms and molecules and behaves similarly to visible light where it can be reflected, refracted, absorbed and emitted. The more these atoms and molecules move, the higher the temperature of the object.

Robotics: How advantageous are they in Industrial and Automation System?

With many companies looking for various manufacturing solutions, Industries are looking for Automation systems i.e. robotics. The meeting of several technologies is bringing the age of robotics ever nearer. Today's industrial robotics and other automation systems are smaller, cheaper, more practical and cost-effective and are chalking up major gains in the automation industry. With the speed, repeatability and efficiency that industrial robotics and automation system provides can increase productivity and profits and reduce costs.

Predictions by many analysts say that the industrial robotics market will experience worldwide growth over the next several years. The major growth drivers are robots and automated systems replacing humans in preprogrammed tasks. Modern multiple axis technology allows several tasks to be performed at the same time, improving both effectiveness and efficiency.

Revolution of industrial robots is replacing workers around the world in manufacturing and distribution operations. There is a tremendous change on the horizon; the potential is significant, because the technology of robotics offer not only improved cost-effectiveness, but there are also some advantages and capabilities of them that have never before been possible.

Uses of CCTV Cameras

We all know that CCTV is a closed circuit television in which signals are not publicly distributed but are monitored, primarily for surveillance and security purposes.

CCTV depends on strategic placement of cameras, and observation of the camera's input on monitors somewhere. The cameras communicate with monitors or video recorders across private coaxial cable runs or wireless communication links is the reason they gain the designation "closed-circuit" to direct that access to their content which is limited by design only to those able to see it. Older CCTV systems used small, low-resolution black and white monitors with no interactive capabilities. Modern CCTV displays can be color, high-resolution displays and can include the ability to zoom in on an image or track something among their features. Talk CCTV allows an overseer to speak to people within range of the camera's associated speakers.
